At our preschool, we set up intentional play activities and explorations in our centers that meet the needs of preschool students. We question and extend their thinking and play to help students acquire a growth mindset.
WELCOME TO CIRCLE TIME
PRETEND CENTER
This is our most popular center. The teachers change it often to go with the current theme. Some of the favorites are pumpkin patch, ice skating rink and pet store.
ART CENTER
We believe in Process Art, allowing children to explore art in an open-ended, unstructured way.
BLOCKS CENTER
DISCOVERY CENTER
In our Discovery Center, students have the opportunity to classify, observe and develop their five senses with both math and science activities.
GYM
A full-size gymnasium provides lots of room for children to engage in gross-motor skill activities. Parachute, scooters and playground balls are popular activities.
LIBRARY CENTER
In the Library Center, the children learn to recognize and identify the letters of the alphabet and their sounds. They learn respect and care for books and are given the tools to encourage pre-writing/writing skills.
